The latest Columbia news in your weekly Low Down roundup:

UPCOMING EVENTS:

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

  • The Low Down featured Naama Tsabar '10SOA an installation and performance artist.

  • Alumni had a great time in Allston, Massachusetts, this past weekend, cheering on the Lions at the Columbia-Harvard football game. The CAA's Doreen Duffy captured the event on social media. Looking for an event in your area? Check out the CAA Events Calendar.

  • Columbia Community Scholar John Reddick is exploring the links between Harlem's African American and Jewish musical cultures. Reddick is one of 18 northern Manhattan residents selected by Columbia to pursue research projects and develop their skills at the University. They audit courses, have library privileges, and meet with scholars in their fields.

THE LOW DOWN:

  • Have you visited the new CAA Shop? The Shop was founded and made possible entirely by alumni. Two alumnae first conceived the idea for an alumni store, another helped launched the website, and more than 3,000 alumni from across the University handpicked designs that are now available for purchase. Shop now.
