Last weekend, the world celebrated Earth Day. The initial Earth Day marked some interesting activities on Columbia's Morningside campus as well. Learn some facts about how Columbia is a leader in sustainability, from academics to dining halls.
To mark the event this year, Columbia announced a new campus sustainability plan, and pledged to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 35 percent in the next three years through a mix of energy conservation and efficiency measures. -
